Some of the sweetest moments in my life are when I can see how much Chase loves Harper. He is such a wonderful Daddy. Not only does he provide for his little family financially, but he takes such great care of me and of our sweet babe. He bathes her, changes her, and loves on her. Here are just a few pictures of little Harpo and her Daddy.

We have a one!
Yes, that's right. We no longer have a newborn, we have a one. For those of you not in the diaper world, they (the diaper makers of the universe), make different sizes of diapers and "code" them with numbers/letters. "N" for newborn-10 lbs, "1" for 10-16 lbs, etc. We have used our final "N" diaper (thank goodness...one too many leaks for me!) and are on to the "1." I can't believe Harper is this big already! She's a 1!

6 Weeks
Well, I continue my monthly posting. Oops. The last 6 weeks have been crazy, wonderful, tiring, exciting, eventful, overwhelming....the list goes on and on. Such a mix of emotions, but I thinkhappy is the key word. We love our little Harper so much. She brings so much happiness, peace, and joy to our home. Chase and I are a better couple because of her. And we're learning to be good parents.
As of this past Saturday, Harper is 6 weeks old. She is about 10 lbs (she's gained over 3 lbs since birth!) and 21 1/2 inches long. She seems so big already! She is smiling a lot and loves to be cuddled. We've had a lot of family around, which has been wonderful.
Here are a bunch of photos of random things...from the hospital to home to family loving on Harper. Most of them are self-explanatory, so I'm not going to write much. (A couple of them wouldn't flip...I stopped trying.)
At the hospital...
Going home...(these clothes are now quite snug on her, but she swam in them when we brought her home)
First carseat ride
Chase brought these flowers home for his 2 girls :)
First bath
She loves to snuggle with Daddy
...and sometimes Mommy
First stroller ride
She's a little small for it, but she likes to go for rides in her Snuggli. And that way I can get some stuff done!!
Trying to train her to be a reader

Blessing Day
This past Sunday was Harper's blessing. A lot of family came to support us and we really appreciated it. My mom made Harper's blessing gown which was gorgeous. It was a long Christening-type gown and was perfect. Then she had these adorable booties and headband, also thanks to my mom. Here are some pictures. Of course, once we got home from church she was screaming so it was hard to get good pictures. I'll have to get pictures other people took at church. But you get the idea.
She's screaming, but it's the only photo I have where you can see the whole dress. Beautiful, isn't it?
Our big girl
All the beautiful trappings. I'm so grateful to my mom for giving us all these things for Harper's wonderful blessing day. She was so beautiful and everything fit perfectly. Thanks again, Mom!
