Well, we have officially arrived in China....finally! We have been planning for this for months and now we're finally here! We are in our apartment now and it's really cool. It's small, but great for us and we absolutely love it. Here are some pictures....

Our bathroom...er....water closet, literally. Notice it's all tiled and that the toilet and the shower head are all together. We have already participated in this unique showering experience. You just shower and water sprays all over that little room, then it drains through a hole in the floor and a little while later, voila! The room is dry again!
Our kitchen. To the left of the hotplate is a counter and sink. This room is about 6'x8'. And no, we don't have any food yet. But notice our cute China dishes. =)
Our bedroom. You can't see the closet, but it does exist and it's pretty big. You also can't see that the bed is as hard as a board. No sinking in here!!
Chase chilling in our tv room. I am currently sitting at the computer you see pictured. You can't see the tv, but it's a nice one.Well, that's our house. More pictures to come. This is such a different place, but we're loving it! We love all of you!

glad to hear you made it! I can't believe you are so far away! That probably was a pretty crazy long plane ride! What a tiny apt. I hope you guys have enough room for the next 6 months with all your souveniers etc.! Keep us informed and keep the pics coming, we love it!
I always wanted a bathroom where I could use the 'john' and shower at the same time - efficient! How do you keep the toilet paper dry, though? :) Maybe you don't need any? You just use the shower nozzle!!! More efficiencies!! I'll bet you can find a nice soft bed pad in the local shops. Have fun! I'm jealous! Love Dad
